Post Office DG under fire

An independent inquiry into the management issues at the SA Post Office may see it's Director-General, Rosey Sekese placed on 'precautionary leave'.

Udo Carelse spoke to the spokesperson of the Telecommunications and Postal Services Department, Siyabonga Qoza, who explains that the independent inquiry is being conducted following a 'paralysis' within the department - where progress on policies has not been satisfactory (for instance, the South Africa Connect policy that should connect institutions to fast internet).

Sekese may be placed on 'precautionary leave' during this inquiry. She has 72 hours to explain why she should not be placed on leave.
