The 2014 tourism report was released at a briefing in Pretoria today by statistician-General Pali Lehohla.
This latest tourism report from Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) has painted a bleak picture for the industry with year-on-year growth from 2013 to 2014 at just 0,1 percent.

CapeTalk’s John Maytham spoke to Eye Witness News Barry Bateman who was also present at the briefing today:
According to Bateman the figures confirms the concerns which were already speculated by the industry.
