John wears his slippers to work - for a cause

John Robbie and Lebogang Moeketsi are wearing their slippers to work today, in support of Slipper Day - Reach For A Dream's awareness and fundraising campaign.

If you want to join them, all you need to do is buy a R10 sticker at any Wimpy, Reach For A Dream Branch or the Slipper Day website and wear your slippers to work, school, the shops – or wherever you choose to and show your support for Reach For A Dream.

Reach For A Dream is one of South Africa’s most respected and widely recognized charities. For the past 26 years, RFAD has been fulfilling the dreams of children between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a lifethreatening illness.

There are thousands of children whose only dream is to have a childhood without pain. Reach for a Dream takes the focus off the illness and creates a fun space where the children can flourish.
