Sizzling Strictly Come Dancing SA Season 8 Finale

Strictly Come Dancing South Africa Season 8 ended with a flair of glitz, glamour and lots of jive last night as contestants took to the dance floor to show South Africans their best moves.

Season 8 Champions, Singer Karlien Van Jaarsveld & Devon Leigh Snell won South Africa's hearts and votes with their fantastic chemistry this season.

Fans were disappointed when season fan favourite, TV Presenter Leigh-Anne Williams did not take the title.

The finale was nothing short of spectacular, saw both Karlien and Leigh-Anne Williams leave their hearts on the dance floor - scoring 10s from the judges.

Speaking about last night's performance on 702 and Cape Talk's Weekend Breakfast, Executive Producer of Strictly Come Dancing - Kee-Leen Irvine praised all the contestants for their hard work this season.

Irvine also commented on the performance of the final two contestatnts runner-up Leigh-Ann and the winner, Karlien.

Leigh-Ann was at the top of the leaderboard for the first 6 weeks, and Karlien took over from week 7 and they were both really worthy competitors to be in the finale. They both worked so hard, I think what happened in the beginning is Karlien was a little bit more reserved so people felt Leigh-Ann's personality more but they both put in hundreds of hours.
