The Future CEO Project is a high school based project that focuses on the training and education of youth providing them with the necessary skills to become successful future entrepreneurs.
The students are taught business skills and have the pleasure of being set up with mentors at their monthly events partnering with top CEO's.
Alon Joseph is the founder of The Future CEO Project and he speaks to CapeTalk/702’s Redi Tlhabi about the operations of the project:
The project came about when Joseph realised that the government only looks at entrepreneurship from the age of 18 and with his background in education he initiated Future CEO'S project focusing on high school students to provide them with business skills at a very young age.
We neglecting the real youth and we not developing this culture of giving them the skills the mind-set and the abilities to look for opportunities— Alon Joseph, founder of The Future CEO Project
According to Joseph the project was launched at schools as extramural activity. The students are encouraged to start their own businesses looking at their talents and passion.
CEO stands for Chief Entrepreneurial Officer.
