Will Fresh Prince of Bel-Air make a comeback?

Will Smith’s production company Overbrook Entertainment, is in the early stages of giving new life to the 90’s sitcom [Fresh Prince of Bel-air](<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pk6kfdftE50"; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>) . Smith is developing a present-day family comedy that puts a new spin on the show.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-air launched the then-rapper’s acting career before ending in 1996. Stephen Grootes chats with Sunday Times entertainment journalist, Gabi Mbele on whether this come back could be a hit or a miss.

Gabi says that she is not too sure of Will Smith's production style, even though the original Fresh Prince sitcom was a firm favourite. She fears that if it is a miss, it will ruin the fond memories of the 90's hit.
