Wyllie has collaborated with a local manufacturer, that produces eco-friendly custom coffins and caskets.

They can be designed to include digitally-printed artworks, hobbies, memorable places, family moments and farewell messages on a loved one's final resting place.

According to Wyllie, the local funeral industry is not well regulated and requires innovation for established practitioners to set themselves apart.

We need start changing people's perceptions to start celebrating life. We have teamed up with the producers of the image coffins and we'll be the first in South Africa to start retailing them.

Andrew Wyllie, manager of Tony Wyllie and Co
