The business rescue practitioners of Optimum Coal mine released a statement on Thursday saying they have suspended their coal supply agreement with Eskom.
It affects the Hendrina power station that will henceforth not receive any coal from Optimum.
In other news, Eskom says unit six of Medupi power station in Limpopo will start to fully contribute to the national grid from Sunday.
