If you’ve gone online today, you probably would have noticed that Google has changed the design of its logo. It’s the biggest change by the search engine in 16 years.
The thinking behind the change is apparently as a way to evolve the brand to reflect a mobile-centered world - to be more efficient across various devices like smartphones and tablets.
Mandy Wiener spoke to Stuff Magazine editor, Toby Shapshak, about these changes.
This is a sign from Google that they want to simplify and update their visual imaging. I think the broader picture is the co-founders have formed a new holding company, Alphabet, of which Google is going to be one of the companies.— Toby Shapshak , Stuff Magazine Editor
