The World Health Organization reports there were 198 million cases of malaria worldwide in 2013, resulting in an estimated 584 000 to 855 000 deaths, 90% of which occurred in Africa.
The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Nando’s founder Robbie Brozin about his philanthropic passions including his brainchild Goodbye Malaria.
Brozin says that Goodbye Malaria is aimed at eliminating malaria in Africa in a way that showed the continent could solve its own problems without a “begging bowl mentality”.
