Over the weekend, a new leadership for the ANC Youth League was elected unopposed, after the previous leadership was disbanded over two years ago.
ANCYL Mpumalanga chairperson Desmond Moela was elected deputy president and Njabulo Nzuza, the secretary in the Musa Dladla region in KwaZulu-Natal, was elected secretary general. Limpopo’s deputy chairperson Thandi Moraka was elected Nzuza’s deputy and Reggie Nkabinde from Gauteng’s West Rand took the position of treasurer.
Collen Maine was announced as the new ANCYL president, while former ANCYL Mpumalanga chairperson Desmond Moela was elected as his deputy. Njabulo Nzuza is the new secretary general and Thandi Moraka is now deputy secretary general. Reggie Nkabinde of Gauteng’s West Rand was elected as ANCYL treasurer.
702's Stephen Grootes asked Nzuza what his first priority as the newly-elected Secretary General of the ANC Youth League will be.
