Springbok Fans in shock and disbelief!

702's John Robbie is in London for the biggest rugby event of the sporting calender, he reflects on South Africa's devastating loss against Japan in their opening match at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

John Robbie says that at halftime last night, Springbok fans and Japanese fans still believed that the Springboks would pick it up and win the match over their opponents before the crushing defeat at the end of the match!

Most people, including me, were saying that the Springboks would run away by 20 points. So I think in terms of changing the plan the Springboks never changed the plan because right until the end they thought that plan was going to win...

The Japanese defence was terrific, the line speed which means just the speed at which the defence comes up, they kept tackling the Springboks back behind the advantage line and as a result our forwards were going back ... and the penalties came you know, and we can't blame the referee because no controversial calls were made.
