Is Meyer responsible for the defeat against Japan?
Following the Springboks' shocking 34-32 defeat against Japan this past weekend, a lot of people are wondering how far the team can actually go.
This comes after another shocking defeat suffered against Argentina in Durban in August this year. There has already been criticism of the team selection by coach, Heyneke Meyer, with claims that some players were too old and that the team in general was not transformed.
Meyer and the captain Jean de Villiers have both said that they need to take full responsibility for what happened.
Stephen Grootes spoke to Rugby commentator and former Springbok player, Ashwin Willemse about Meyer' game plan and transformation.
Stephen Grootes also spoke to sport journalist, Andy Capostagnoa with an analysis of what happened.
