Two Cape Town teens cast in first-ever SA production on Disney Chanel

Two Cape Town teens have been named as the presenters of the first-ever South African production on Disney Channel.

The show is called I ♥ Violetta, and is a companion series to the third season of the immensely popular all-singing, all-dancing teen telenovela, Violetta.

Sophie de Bruyn and Aneeqah Sulaiman will make their debut on I ♥ Violetta this Friday at 5pm on the Disney Channel (DStv channel 303).

The pair, both aged 16, say they are excited about the talk show and have never had an opportunity of this scale before.

Listen to the full conversation from The Pippa Hudson Show:

Following a nationwide talent search and audition process, the young girls were chosen, along with Durban-born Enhle Ntombela, to take on the exciting new series.

The show will take on a lifestyle format and the presenters will discuss the various Violetta characters.

In addition, they will show some dance moves and choreography, share fashion tips based on what the characters wear and talk about the issues and challenges facing the teen characters in the show.

The show is produced by Urban Brew Studios and will broadcast every Friday at 17:00.
