Meet diamond guru Yair Shimansky and marvel at his opulent creations

The Money Show's Bruce Whitfield interviewed Yair Shimansky, founder and CEO of premier platinum and diamond jewellery design retailer Shimansky Jewellers.

Yair Shimansky is the creator of the world's most expensive temporary tattoo, worth R7.2 million and made of 612 half-carat diamonds.

Yair Shimansky's obsession began at the age of 22 when he started a two year stint in Japan, learning all he can about diamonds.

His first business was a flea market stall on the Durban beachfront.

Today, Yair Shimansky exports diamonds to all corners of the world through his international wholesale offices in New York and Hong Kong.

Buying diamond jewellery is not a financial investment. Walk away from the jeweller who tells you it is.
