Watershed, twenty years in existance and still going strong

CapeTalk’s Pippa Hudson speaks to an acoustic rock band, Watershed.

Watershed a South African Pop-Rock band that was founded in 1998. They’ve been around for nearly 20 years now. Their most famous song is 'Indigo Girl’,which was released in 2002.

In 2003 and 2005, Watershed won Best Pop Album at the South African Music Award (SAMA) for two of their albums Wrapped in Stone and Mosaic arrived.

They launched their new album in Cape Town this week and Craig Hinds says it took them a year to finish it. He says it took longer because they are always performing and touring.

Watershed new single: "Magical Energy"

Watershed has four members:

Craig Hinds – vocals, piano, acoustic guitar, harmonica

Gideon Botes – lead guitar, acoustic and mandolin

Howie Combrink – drums

Paul McIver – guitars & vocals
