'Ayanda' opens in South African cinemas today

The movie Ayanda opens in South African cinemas on Friday.

It stars Fulu Muguvhani as Ayanda, a 21-year-old woman who is faced with the challenge of preserving her late father’s legacy.

It is reported that a US director and filmmaker, Ava DuVernay has snapped up the movie for international distribution.

Ayanda is co-produced by Terry Pheto and directed by Sara Blecher.
