SA's public transport woes need regional solutions - Wayne Duvenage

Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa) chairperson Wayne Duvenage says local public transport challenges need to be dealt with at a local government level.

In the absence of integrated and successful public transport, road building just induces more congestion. We really need to deal with Gauteng's issues here, just as the Western Cape is dealing with their transport issues.

Duvenage advised that provincial government need to engage with the various stakeholders to find solutions to the integration challenges.
