Use Dlamini-Zuma's expertise effectively, MKMVA urges ANC

The Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans’ Association’s (MKMVA) leader Kebby Maphatsoe said African Union Commission chairperson Nkosazana Dlaimini-Zuma must be used effectively by the ANC.

Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma’s term as the AU Commission chairperson ends next year.

CapeTalk’s/702’s Stephen Grootes spoke to Kebby Maphatsoe, the deputy minister of defence and leader of MKMVA:

We are saying that Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma when her term expires at the African Union she is going to come back as the national executive member of the ANC but should not be in government.

Maphatsoe added that Dlamini Zuma had gained experience from running a big institution like the African Union and her expertise should be used effectively.
