Former finance minister Trevor Manuel has said that South Africa should implement a Chinese style campaign against corruption to restore faith in government.
Manuel was referring to the recent anti-corruption campaign in China, which has targeted some of the most powerful politicians and leaders.
EWN's China correspondent, Steve Vines, said China's anti-corruption campaign had disciplined over 400 000 people and recovered over $6 billion from corrupt officials.
