Wine buyers spend R11.82 million in a single day at auction near Stellenbosch

Wine buyers spent R11.82 million in a single day at the Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild auction at Spier wine estate near Stellenbosch this past weekend.

The average price per case rose by just under 10% on last year.

Tsogo Sun spent R2 million, making it the largest buyer for the second year running.
