The contentious matter of medicinal marijuana has resurfaced after the Hawks conducted a raid on a cannibis oil operation in Richards Bay last week.
South African dagga activist Bobby Greenhash (real name Sheldon Cramer) owns a foundation which provides cannabis oil to cancer sufferers and other patients free of charge.
Cramer is waiting to hear whether he faces prosecution after his various products were confiscated by a specialised unit.

Cramer has been dubbed as “the Robin Hood of cannabis oil” and says the battle is not against the police, but rather with the state who has not taken a stance on the pharmaceutical use of marijuana.
Parliament continues to look into the issue of legalising marijuana for medicinal purposes but the wheels are turning very slowly.
