After 13 years as the host of BBC Two comedy quiz show QI, Stephen Fry is to steps down.
Fry is to be replaced by Sandi Toksvig, who described it as her "dream job".
The show covers topics under one letter per series and the upcoming M series will be Fry's last.
CapeTalk’s John Maytham spoke to Gavin Grey, Eye Witness News UK Correspondent.
Listen to the full conversation on The John Maytham Show:
Grey said that Fry simply said "it was time for him to move on" after reaching half way mark of the alphabets covered on the show.
He said that there’s been more pressure for the BBC to get more women present in their shows.
Grey said that Toksvig is no stranger to the lime light, she is a writer, presenter, comedian, actress and producer on British radio and television. He further said that she is also clever and fun.
