ANC will stiil rule even after #FeesMustFall fiasco

23 October 2015 3:36 PM

Professor Friedman says the student protests in South Africa are not a sign of the decline of support for the ruling party.

According to political analyst Professor Steven Friedman the protests are an indication of issues which were supposed to have been dealt with in the past.

He says that the student protests will not affect the ANC's support ahead of the upcoming local government elections.

CapeTalk's John Maytham asked Professor Friedman about the significant of the past few days where South Africa saw university students protesting and demanding 0% increase on fees.
