Malala: The ANC has been playing catch up on every front this year

Political analyst Justice Malala says the African National Congress (ANC) is losing its position as leaders in South Africa.

According to Malala, the party has spent 2015 trying to respond to pressing social issues instead of anticipating them.

If you look at this year, whether it's the xenophobic violence, #RhodesMustFall, open Stellenbosh or the #FeesMustFall movement - the ANC has been playing 'catch up' on virtually every front. They haven't been able to anticipate the issues or community concerns.
