Explorer Emlynn Brown has spent decades looking for Waratah, and in 2004, 22 years into the search, declared that he was giving up, as he had exhausted all options and had no new ideas where to look.
The SS Waratah, with 211 passengers and crew departed from Durban bound for Cape Town, and disappeared without a trace.
Brown is currently trying to raise funds for both a new expedition and a book about his ongoing search.
