#CapeTalkinTheBoardroom: Live at Yuppiechef

It’s CapeTalk’s 18th birthday this month and we are celebrating our birthday with many Cape Town businesses. This morning, breakfast with Kieno Kammies show is broadcasting live from the boardroom of Yuppiechef in Westlake.

Yuppiechef is an online store that sells a range of kitchen tools and appliances, from simple vegetable peelers to state-of-the-art sous vide baths, as well as other accessories for the home such as bathroom and garden décor.

The business was launched in 2006 by Andrew Smith and his business partner Shane Dryden. Andrew is the Co-founder and CEO of Yuppiechef.

Andrew brought into the business technical, financial and operational aspects needed to get the fledgling business operating and scaling with volumes.

We are trying to reach people who aren't chefs, we are not only selling to professional chefs who cooks in restaurants.
