Today (28 October) would have been Jenna Lowe’s 21st birthday.
Jenna captured the hearts and minds of many South Africans; she inspired 36 000 South Africans to register as organ donors through her GetMeTo21 campaign.
She became our Lead SA National Youth hero for 2015.
A few years ago Jenna was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, a lung disease, and was not given long to live. However, she had a dream of living to see her 21st birthday and created the GetMeTo21 campaign.

Sadly, Jenna passed away on the 8th of June this year, despite receiving a set of lungs in December last year.

Gabi said that Jenna promised a big party for the all organ donors, however, this year will be too soon but they will work on fulfilling the dream in the near future.
