How to help Masiphumelele matrics affected by mob violence

Communities across Cape Town have come together to gather lunch sandwiches for 200 matric students from Masiphumelele High school.

The pupils were moved to a secure location where they will write their final exams amid violent protests in the area over visible policing.

Listen to the full conversation from The Pippa Hudson Show:

Project organiser Tracy Stallard said people wanting to help can either make a financial contribution to the bank account or donate food goods.

The co-ordinators plan to have a shopping list in place too for you as soon as we have the menu plan.

For more information, visit the Facebook page titled Masi Matriculants - sandwich planning group.
