Repairs underway after Cape's stormy weather leaves roadway damage
Reparations have been scheduled across the city after Cape Town's adverse weather conditions left significant infrastructural damage over the weekend.
An Eskom pylon crushed a house in Sunningdale. Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, Strandfontein Road has been closed after the roadway collapsed following heavy rains on Sunday.
According to the City of Cape Town's JP Smith, officials received an extraordinary number of requests to attend to weather-related issues across the city.

Smith said that no communities asked for flooding relief after yesterday's events.
However, 15 people were confirmed dead in road accidents at the weekend and Smith said two road accidents involved City officials at the weekend.
