Uber is the epitome of urban-convenience. It’s also a way for you to make money

Uber is making serious inroads into the rental market.

Is it becoming a real solution to the urbanite?

The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Mike Stopforth, CEO of social media agency Cerebra.

Earlier this year Stopforth put his BMW 320d into UberBlack.

He also invested in a company that owns and runs a number of Honda vehicles in UberX.

Whitfield interviewed him on what he has learned.

Scroll down for quotes from the audio below.

I completely abandoned driving my car as an experiment. I never took it back, Uber was so convenient.

Mike Stopforth

Some cars are specifically bought for use as Uber taxis.

Mike Stopforth

If you’re travelling 100 kilometres per day, then it becomes very expensive.

Mike Stopforth

There are a lot of benefits that surprised me. For example, I walk more.

Mike Stopforth

Many people are shocked to hear that I don’t own a car!
