Inside apartheid government's global propaganda campaign

The apartheid government, facing a credibility crisis, waged a worldwide propaganda campaign to win support and burnish its image overseas.

The campaign, which involved an elaborate network of supporters as far afield as the United States, reportedly cost the state about $100 million annually over half a century.

702's Azania Mosaka spoke to Ron Nixon, the author of Selling Apartheid, about his book which lays bare the secret operations of a paranoid state.
