Blink and you'll miss out! Why you need to get War Horse tickets now

War Horse is wrapping up its run at the Montecasino Teatro in Johannesburg, and will be coming to the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town from 5 December – the first night has already been sold out!

It will run until 4 January, and tickets are between R100 to R450 each.

Critic Christina Kennedy saw the show at Montecasino and she wrote a review for Business Day.

She writes:

"As the cast took their bows, the audience rose to its feet in a thunderous standing ovation, made all the more deafening when Adrian Kohler and Basil Jones, the co-founders of Cape Town’s Handspring Puppet Company, came on stage to say a few words.

They are the brains behind the feats of artistic and engineering genius that are the puppets in WAR HORSE — specifically, the majestic horses Joey and Topthorn, but also a cheeky little goose that provides the odd soupçon of comic relief."

John spoke to Christina. Don't miss out Cape Town!
