Wits researchers discovered fossils of a 200 million year old dinosaur

WITS University researchers announced today the discovery of the thighbone of a 200 million years old dinosaur.

The bone is said to be from a 10-ton herbivore known as the "Highland Giant".

CapeTalk’s John Maytham spoke to Dr Jonah Choiniere of Evolutionary Studies Institute at WITS.

According to Choiniere the discovered dinosaur is 50 percent larger than the previous discoveries in South Africa.
