Black cricketers call for transformation

A group of black cricketers, calling themselves Black Cricketers in Unity, sent Cricket South Africa (CSA) a letter on Monday stating their concerns on issues of transformation in cricket.

The letter made reference to black players not given game time despite being selected for the Proteas squad.

CapeTalk’s John Maytham on Thursday spoke to Jeremy Fredericks, a Supersport cricket analyst, who said he believes the group has a point to make or they wouldn’t have written the letter.
