What makes for a killer 30-second-elevator-pitch? In short; it must contain the following elements:
Start off with a memorable and attention grabbing fact.
Discuss who your customers are. Remember, you can’t be everything to everybody. Be specific!
Show that you understand your customers’ problems.
Describe your solution.
- Describe the relief your customer will feel if they buy your solution as well as the pain and agony they’ll experience if they don’t.
All of this in 30 seconds! It sounds deceivingly easy but, in fact, it’s extremely hard especially if you’re under pressure.
You must practice your speech over and over and over again and every member of your staff should know it by heart.
