Sinking of the RMS Titanic comes to life in artifact exhibition

For the first time in South Africa, authentic artifacts recovered from the famous RMS Titanic shipwreck will be on display for locals to discover.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will showcase priceless objects such as delicate perfume vials, porcelain dinnerware, personal belongings and other items recreating the historic maritime disaster in 1912.

COO of local organisers Expo SA Nick Dreyer said the harbour exhibit tells the chronological story of the Titanic from its design to its tragic destruction.

Listen to the full conversation from CapeTalk's Breakfast with Kieno Kammies:

The exhibition runs from 22 November 2015 until March 2016 at the Watershed in the V&A & Waterfront.
