Free State Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Xolisile Khanyile, says institutions that are supposed to act as watchdogs, such as Parliament, are starting to lose credibility.
Khanyile was speaking at the Africa Prosecution's Anti-Corruption Conference in Tshwane on Wednesday.
Midday Report's Steven Grootes spoke to EWN reporter Clement Manyathela who attended the conference.
She also touched a little bit on the credibility of the National Prosecuting Authority and spoke about how anti-corruption bodies should not be influenced politically in any way.— Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter
When asked questions about the current state of the NPA as its senior advocates Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi have been struck off the roll, Manyathela says Khanyile refused to answer.
