Question Guidelines

- Questions should be 10-14 words long (about 70 characters).
- Each question should have only one possible answer.
- There are two contestants in each round, so questions must be submitted in pairs. In other words, each question must be accompanied by a similar question.
- Both questions must be about the same topic, the same length and at the same level of difficulty.
There are three types of questions:

1. Straightforward Questions

2. Dual Choice Questions
Question: What is the national flower of South Africa. King Protea or Thistle?
Answer: King Protea

3. True or False Questions
Question: True or false - The Nile is the longest river on earth?
Answer: True

Cape Talk and Dis-Chem will choose a winner with the best question daily from the entries received from 16 November 2019 to 29 November 2019.
Winners are awarded R 1 000 cash.
The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is not negotiable, not transferrable, and cannot be exchanged.
Cape Talk and Dis-Chem will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever, and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating.
A participant will not be able to win this competition if they have won a prize on Cape Talk within the past 90 days, whether on-air, online or via any of the station’s social platforms.
If a winner chosen does not comply, their entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be randomly selected.
In the event that a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or contravenes the terms and conditions of this competition or of Cape Talk and Dis-Chem, the prize will be forfeit.
Primedia Broadcasting will notify the winner when the vouchers will be delivered, based on the receipt of requested documentation.
Cape Talk reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the promoter.
