| St Michael's School |
 On May 18 St George’s Grammar School did an official handover of a upgrade project that started in October 2011. The Dischem Foundation generously donated R100 000 to the upgrade project for St Michael’s Primary School in Khayelitsha following a winning submission from St George’s grammar school.
St Michael’s needed help with new courts, greening of the playground where the children can sit and have their lunch (special thanks to Clayton Lue and Paarman Landscapes for their great work done & assistance in this regard), a rain tank, sporting equipment and coaching clinics.
The handover was the culmination of months of fruitful work and collaboration between 567 CapeTalk and St George’s with the generous assistance of the Dischem Foundation. |
