On Saturday the 11th of February 2006, Moonstruck makes an eagerly awaited return to Clifton 4th Beach, brought to you by CapeTalk and BP Express.

Moonstruck celebrates love, family and the special people in our lives. Between 6: 30 and 10pm parents, children, siblings and close friends will come together to picnic under the stars while enjoying some excellent music in the company of, host, Sollie Philander and CapeTalk personalities.

Maquina loca, a 12-piece, Cape Town-based orchestra, will be on stage performing Afro-Caribbean dance music from Cuba and Puerto Rico, and New York style salsa. The name is Spanish and means Crazy "Salsa" Machine, which is reflective not only of the energy of their performance but also, their commitment to the music.

With Valentine’s fever in the air, the secluded setting of Clifton’s 4th Beach will come alive to the sounds of live South African salsa band Maquina Loca, an energetic 12-piece Cape Town-based orchestra, performing Afro-Caribbean dance music from Cuba and Puerto Rico, and New York style salsa.

The beach will be transformed into an open-air dance floor, complete with a spectacular lighting show. Once again the NSRI and loyal volunteers will be selling much-needed candles on the night to raise funds for their organization.

Don't miss out ...

How did you ever function in the past without BP Express shops? The simple
truth is, you didn’t. You sighed at the empty breadbin. You cursed when the
milk turned sour. And when the toilet paper ran out, well, you got creative. Nowadays things are a lot easier, because BP Express provide all the usual household items …and then so much more. Whether you’re after a light snack, a meal or toiletries; maybe it’s a light bulb, a greeting card, soap powder or an ice-cold drink, you’ll find it all in the 24-hour secure shopping environment that is BP Express.

If you ever find yourself in trouble in or around South African seas, there's only one number to call - the NSRI. The NSRI consists only of volunteers. These volunteers are normal people, who have their own careers, families and hobbies. But when they get the call, YOU become their priority. NSRI volunteers often risk their lives in the most adverse weather conditions. They're willing to do that for free, but they still need funds to maintain their equipment.

The NSRI will be present at Moonstruck on Clifton 4th on the 11th of February. They will be selling candles on the night to raise much-needed funds for their organisation. So buy your candle from them on the night and support this very worthy cause.
