The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviewed Chris Sloane, author of “Use Some Common Cents to Build Financial Independence”, for his weekly business book review.

It highlights how people waste money and gives several ideas on how to save money.

It suggests ways to invest money and explains how investments like listed shares, unit trusts and ETFs work.

Chris Sloane qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 1986.

He has run his practice for 25 years, specialising in deceased estate administration and accounting and tax for individuals, small businesses and trusts.

He facilitates “Finance for non-financial managers” courses.
