Smart Water Meter Challenge saving 100 million litres of water

The Smart Water Meter Challenge has been making great strides, with another 34 schools being added to the tally.

It brings the total number of schools equipped with the Dropula device to 299.

According to professor Thinus Booysen, Senior Lecturer Stellenbosch University, to date they have saved nearly R10 million.

We surpassed a total saving of 100 million litres of water. The good news is that we've exceeded all the investment we have made.
