Very strong case against Pietropaolo says family's lawyer
A top banker, Enzo Pietropaolo is accused of killing his estranged wife Manuela, shooting her nine times in November last year.
The accused is applying for bail in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on Friday.
Attorney Ulrich Roux representing the family of the deceased says Pietropaolo did apply for bail last year after the murder of his wife, but then stopped the application.
Roux says the accused has now relaunched his bail application.

It is a schedule 6 bail application, where the charge faced is one of pre-meditated murder.

He says there is evidence placing the accused at the scene when the murder took place, as well as firearm ballistics and eyewitness accounts.
