Brought to you by The Shoprite Group in partnership with CapeTalk, Bridgiot, Pragma and the University of Stellenbosch

Can you imagine saving 40 kilolitres of water every single day? That’s more than a megalitre a month.

One Cape Town high school, Hector Peterson Secondary School in Wallacedene, managed to save R52 000 a month, with the use of a device called the Dropula. This device is a locally developed and manufactured smart water meter that allows consumers to track and manage their water consumption in real time.

You can be a part of the movement, too.
