Pebbles Project Trust receives R60 000 donation from Dischem Foundation

The Dischem Foundation is donating R60 000 worth of goods over a year to the Pebbles Project Trust to allow them to keep doing the good work in supporting families in the Winelands, as part of their Random Act of Kindness programme.

Pebbles Project Trust is impacting the lives of children and their families in the Winelands farming communities.

Director of Pebbles Project Trust, Sophia Warner says their core purpose is education. They now have other supporting programmes on health and nutrition working with 1500 children in those areas.

A lot farm workers we working with, they know what needs to be done and want to do it, but don't have the skills.

The skill of the Pebbles Project is to implement education programmes and work with those communities in every aspects of their lives.

Warner thanked the Dischem Foundation for the good work they are doing in supporting a project that helps to uplift the lives of people in farming communities.
