Nedbank Business Accelerator with CapeTalk

Shaw Terra Cotta going strong 52 years later

Enter your business in the Nedbank Business Accelerator Campaign with CapeTalk today.

Shaw Tec was founded in 1960 by Alan Shaw.

This talented potter and artist who now manages the business says he took over the reigns from his father in 1978.

Shaw says his dad stayed on for a period three months to ensure a smooth handover.

Shaw Terra Cotta now offers ceramic bespoke tile range, which has been inspired by Andy’s daughter Olivia, whom Andy hopes will run the business one day.

Their vision is to keep their brand relevant, with a consumer looking for handmade products, products made with love, and a passion for design, ceramics, and tiles in general.
