The compensation fund is broken

The labour Compensation Fund is supposed to pay out billions in benefits every year,
but has virtually stalled since a new electronic payments system was introduced. Several organisations have now come together to form an emergency council of concerned industry leaders to launch the Injured Workers Action Group (IWAG). Tim Hughes speaks to Refilwe Moloto about the groups concerns.

Government proposes review of public wage agreement on eve of budget

Strandfontein's water quality restored after contamination

The City of Cape Town has assured residents in Strandfontein that tap water there is
once again safe to use after it had been compromised recently. However, they have
issued an advisory calling for residents to flush out their geysers and filters linked to
