Gushwell also contributes to EWN and the Daily Maverick on pressing issues facing the country.

Gushwell deems himself an extremely lucky bloke, “I get to do what I love by being a radio talk show host, columnist and I work in the field of social justice”.

During the Oscar Pistorius trial, Gushwell hosted the dedicated ‘Oscar Extra’ audio stream, contributing his legal opinion and interviewing experts when court was not in session.
