Shiloh describes his career in broadcasting and music.

"Late Seventies I worked at various record shops namely Sigma Records Stellenbosch and Musica in Rondebosch till my trip to Israel where I presented Prog rock shows for Radio Hershalom (The Voice of Peace) on a boat outside territorial waters.

The Eighties I had brief radio excursions at Love Radio Amsterdam (from a windmill) and Q Radio in Gory Castle on the island of Jersey. On return, a short spell at Radio Matie and then a loyal 20 year run at Fine Music Radio. During this time I wrote countless music articles for the District Mail and SA rock Digest, the editor being Steve Segerman who discovered Rodriguez.

During the first 7 years of FMR (Fine Music Radio) I wrote a 750-page book on the history of rock that encompassed Blues / Rock n’ Roll/ Surf guitar/ Folk Music/ Psychedelia/ British Beat and Progressive rock. After years of marketing the book, it was first awarded a 3-star review by London’s much-revered Record Collector and later a 4-star review by Rolling Stone magazine.

Courted by Radio Monaco and Radio Barcelona, the book went from strength to strength finding itself in the hands of many renowned rocks stars and resulting in 7 more amendments and a further three launches in London, Paris and Amsterdam. To date, Creda press in Cape Town can account for over 8 thousand that have reached many global destinations. The final reward a week ago on my 60th Birthday was personal email wishes from David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, the band Yes / Strawbs / Shawn Phillips / Focus / Rick Wakeman etc. I now find myself sharing songs and the stories behind the groove on 567 CapeTalk, a dream come true and may it bless and enrich all out there that love music."
